Went to look for a video on YouTube. Google now wants you to "sign in" and set up an account with your email address to find a video. Double FUUUCK you. I detest Google and I go out of my way to avoid their crap. I never use their search engine, as there are more private ones out there that use Google, with their servers, but do not record any information about you like the creeps at Google.
Let the mindless masses feed their insatiable quest for all knowledge of your world. Not I.

I feel your pain, but whatever you do, don't become one of those people who starts spamming those fucking retarded comments with a stick figure on it. Those drive people more batshit than the comment system themselves.

You sound old. Are you old?

Just click X out of it, or refresh the page

But the thing is, links and ASCII art weren't allowed before, and comment length was limited.

Why don't you just stop going on the internet all together because if you think anything is private...well I've got a bridge to sell you and my cousin in Nigeria wants to send you some of his money.
How is this surprising?
Google has slowly been bringing all of their services under the same account for a while now, did you honestly think YouTube would be left alone?

Are younger people more prone to obeying corporations' orders online?
Then I must be old too.

Who knew Google would be SkyNet in the future? Funny...

I'm sure I am older than you. I am sure I am smarter than you, too.

I think it's pretty nice, since now I have a two g+ pages my real life one and my you tube channel one since I didn't link them. This is the only site I don't use my real name on, but I have been thinking about changing it here. I think I used to have it as my name years ago.

How much for the bridge? Will your cousin in Nigeria send me the money to buy it?
Here, I'll give you my e-mail and phone number and SSN and bank information and my address so he can get in touch with me.
Next week I'm closing on some oceanfront property in Arizona.
No, nothing is totally private. The extent that Google goes to to collect it is appalling. What they use it for is even more appalling. I know I cannot totally conceal myself, but I can take as many advantages as there are available to reduce it. The people who see no problem with this mass accumulation of personal information are the sheep. IMO.

Does YouTube do this every time for you? I can do searches in Google Chrome's Incognito Mode (so not signed in) with no problem.
YouTube does push me to show my real name every now and then, but I usually just exit out of the prompts and try again.

I now, just use either an anonymous search engine or a proxy server.

Interesting. A Luddite with some sass.
